NEW WEBINAR: PDA & MENTAL HEALTH with Dr Judy Eaton 6th July

We’re delighted to announce that the first in our new series of webinars – PDA & Mental Health with Dr. Judy Eaton – is now available for registrations here. The event will be streamed live at 11.30am on Thursday 6th July, and a recording will be available to watch on-demand soon thereafter.
 
Dr Judy Eaton is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist with considerable expertise and experience in PDA. Judy will talk through the benefits of early identification and intervention; what mental health considerations may sometimes arise with ASDs in general and PDA specifically; and signpost resources & strategies. The webinar will be relevant for parents/carers, adults with PDA and professionals. The presentation will be followed by Q&A with Judy and trustees of the PDA Society.
 
We’ll be running a series of webinars on key topics relating to Pathological Demand Avoidance – including family resilience, navigating the diagnostic pathway, educational strategies, Adults with PDA, PDA & sensory challenges, PDA & speech/language - over the coming months. Many of these will be run in partnership with other leading professionals. All the webinars are free to access and can be watched live on the day and/or as a recording on-demand afterwards. To access a webinar you’ll need a good internet connection (WiFi or 4G).
