The Elizabeth Newson Centre, Nottingham
The Elizabeth Newson Centre (ENC) is the undisputed leader in assessing and diagnosing PDA. Assessments cover a comprehensive range of disorders and do not focus solely on PDA. It is therefore likely that assessment through the service will lead to identification and accurate diagnosis of what are often complex cases.
Assessments can be privately funded by parents, but may be paid for by the NHS or Local Authority. It is usually only possible for the NHS or Local Authority to obtain funding for an assessment at the ENC if it can be proven that there is not a service locally that can meet this need.
