Benefits of Membership

There is no fee for membership of the PDA Society, and you do not have to be a member to access our services.

However, we do ask that you consider registering as a member, Membership is open to families, education and social care professionals, and diagnosing professionals.

Members will be asked to complete a short survey, which provides us with a simple measure of the amount of interest in PDA and helps us build up a picture of the educational support and other services available to children and adolescents with PDA and their families. This information will help us in future campaigning for provision of services. We also use this survey to gather information about diagnosing professionals.

Your data will be held securely and not passed on to any third parties without your consent. Please note, if you complete the families membership form there is an option to allow your email address, name and age of your child to be shared with other families in your area. You may choose to opt in or out of this.

Benefits of membership include:

  • Access to our discussion forum
  • We will from time to time send out newsletters by email
  • We will inform you of local support groups, research opportunities, and any other information we think may be of interest to you.
