Autism Oxford UK are pleased to announce they will be holding their annual conference on Friday May 20th 2022.

The theme for 2022 is Neurodiversity and The Diversity of Autism with talks throughout the day relating to identity, including the various profiles of autism.


Helen Evans 10:45-11:15

Helen Evans is CEO of the PDA Society. She is an openly autistic CEO, has personal connection with PDA and lives in Oxfordshire.

Helen has previously led two other neurological charities, Dravet Syndrome UK and Cavernoma Alliance UK.

Helen will be talking to us about PDA, which stands for ‘Pathological Demand Avoidance’ and is widely but not universally understood to be a profile of autism.

Paul Isaacs 11:15-12:20

Paul Isaacs is a speaker, trainer, consultant and author on the autism spectrum. He has been an advocate for ten years.

In 2012 he was diagnosed with visual perceptual disorders, scotopic sensitivity, dyslexia & dyscalculia.

Paul will be talking about his experiences with dyslexia and dyscalculia through his educational years and how tinted lense aid with processing information.
