Engaging with EDA in Adulthood – 23 February, Presented by Karin Huyssen, Clinical Psychologist
This talks will delve into the potential screening procedures, relationship dynamics, helpful and unhelpful interaction, and support and intervention as applies to children and adults with EDA. Requires watching ‘An Introduction to EDA’ recorded video.
The video ‘An Introduction to EDA: Theory and Understanding’ [3 CEUs accredited by the HPCSA], will be shared for viewing 12-15 February and 19-22 February, with the video link sent to attendees. ‘Theory and Understanding’ is included in the package of either EDA in childhood, EDA in adulthood or both, and is necessary to watch before the following talks as it contextualizes all discussion about the scope, presentation and overlap of EDA. The recorded ‘Theory and Understanding’ talk was presented by Ben Truter, Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Director of the NDC. Q&A opportunities will be open in subsequent talks.
