Information about PDA and parenting strategies 

  • The National Autistic Society contains information about PDA, links to various other useful resources and free helplines 
  • The PDA Resource contains links to various websites, facebook pages, blogs, documents, graphics, & videos etc. 
  • PDA Guidance Blog, created by Jane Sherwincontains guidance about navigating the diagnostic pathway, the special education needs pathway, strategies and links to various websites etc. 
  • Lives in the Balance Dr Ross Greene is the originator of the Collaborative Problem Solving approach ... Lives in the Balance is devoted to moving things in that very direction.
  • The Challenging Behaviour Foundation work to improve understanding of challenging behaviour, empower families with information and support, and help others to provide better services and more opportunities. Support is based on a positive behaviour support (PBS) model, which aims to work with skills of those who support people with challenging behaviour rather than using traditional reward / punishment models. Please note the Challenging Behaviour Foundation supports families of people with severe learning disabilities so may not be able to support all families.
