  • Must one provide a postal address to access the members forums?

I feel exceptionally uncomfortable giving my address out to strangers... any way round this? Is it bublically viewable? Am i just pressing the wrong buttons??? lol

Was directed here through a link posted on my own site a site for parents of children with all kinds of special need, and would be very interested in finding out more about PDA. Been very interested reading about it on my own site. I am a Teaching Assistant, and last year I was working 1:1 with a child I suspect did have PDA, certainly strong traits of it... fantastic kid, he has since moved on to a special school. I also have an autistic child who attends an MLD who is extremely lovely except when 'decorating' his room with washing powder   :?

Nice to meet you all, and can anyone tell me where I am going wrong?

The reason for requesting members to register as members of the Contact Group is to ensure that by only opening them up to people who have a specific interest in PDA, the members forums are kept targeted on PDA. It is intended that casual visitors who will not be participating on a regular basis will use this General Discussion forum.

The details you provide when completing the PDA Contact Group membership registration forms on our main website are available to the forum and contact group administrators only, and are not publically viewable.

As some of the members forums are for professionals, we felt it was important to make sure all postings were totally relevant so that they would not need to spend a lot of time flicking through postings of little interest.

We may not have got things right, and will be keeping the organisation of the board under review. Once we have been fully operational for a while we will be inviting comments.
