Pathological Demand Avoidance Support Group - South Bucks
  • Pathological Demand Avoidance - New support group

Are you a parent, guardian, carer or professional working with children who exhibit traits of PDA, are going through assessment or have a PDA diagnosis?

Would you like to meet, share experiences & receive encouragement from like minded people?

Interested? Then why not come along to one of our informal coffee mornings?

Our next gathering is on Friday 6th November at John Lewis, High Wycombe (far end of the coffee shop). Future proposed dates include Friday 18th December and Friday 29th January 2016, venues to be confirmed.

The South Bucks PDA Group is a new group set up in July 2015, by a local Mum with a diagnosed child of PDA, as meeting people who understood or had heard about the condition was very difficult. The group can't promise to solve your problems but, sharing experiences, knowing you are not alone and hearing positive stories could be just what you need.

If you are interested in meeting or would like to find out more please e-mail:
    PDAgroup@harveys-home.me.uk

For more detailed information on Autism, the NAS is highly recommended and they have local branches across the country many of which will run regular activities and coffee mornings too. For information on groups near you please view their website:

  • SUPPORT GROUP SOUTH BUCKS: The next South Bucks PDA Group coffee morning has been scheduled for Friday 5th February at John Lewis in High Wycombe. They will be meeting at the rear end of the coffee shop from 9.30-12.30.

The group organiser also intends to hold an evening gathering on Thursday 10th March at the Firecrest near Wendover, subject to numbers. Prior booking essential.

    E-mail: PDAgroup@harveys-home.me.uk for further details.
