Clare Truman at University College London is conducting a new research project about the Educational Experiences of Children with Pathological Demand Avoidance.

Young people and adults with a diagnosis of PDA and parents of school age children who have a diagnosis of PDA are invited to participate in interviews about educational experiences and experiences of diagnosis. For more info please see flyer:

If you would like to take part, please contact Clare at
    clare.truman.15@ucl.ac.uk or 07775 717330.

Update: This study is looking for people only with a diagnosis that states "Pathological Demand Avoidance" or "PDA" (such as ASD with PDA). This is because questions about the diagnosis process are included and the researcher is partly interested in how professionals respond to this specific diagnosis.

How about diagnosis of ASD with significant demand avoidance. Our L.A doesn't diagnose yet I would like to take part. We've had a very interesting and varied experience concerning education and still are so if our story could help I'd like to take part.

I'd actually be surprised if she received many replies as from what I can tell not many get this diagnosis as lots of L.A don't formally diagnose. X
