The PDA Society is running a two-part webinar to help increase understanding of PDA, highlight helpful strategies and signpost where to go for more information.

Part one (Thursday March 16th 11.30am UK time) will focus on understanding PDA – looking at the history of the diagnosis, the view of professionals and the latest research, key characteristics and what exactly constitutes a demand. It will end with a Q&A session.
You can register for part one here: http://www.workcast.com/register?pak=4774633347614563&cpak=3526586978537598

Part two (Thursday March 23rd 11.30am UK time) will focus on helpful strategies and our personal mindset plus signpost additional resources. There will be another Q&A session at the end.
You can register for part two here: http://www.workcast.com/register?pak=9307469017235754&cpak=2886898666589652

You will need to register separately for each part if you wish to attend both sessions.

The webinar is primarily designed for parents/carers of children with PDA or who feel that PDA may be the best ‘fit’ for their child’s profile, but may also be helpful for professionals (medical, education, social care) as well as parents/carers of adults with PDA.

A recording of the webinar will be available afterwards if you aren’t able to join us live.

Good stuff. The more awareness out there the better. My thoughts on the terminology 'profile' as opposed to 'sub-type':

Just to say within 24 hours of announcing the webinars we already have 300 people registered from around the world including Australia, New Zealand, Canada, the US, Oman, Denmark, Portugal ... ! Of course many others have contacted us to say they aren't able to attend the webinar in real time, due to work or caring commitments, so it's also fantastic that there will be a recording available so that they can watch it at a time to suit them.
