As you are aware myself and Mary Black Petitioned the Scottish Government after our horrendous experiences over the years with the amazing support from Cllr Euan Robson of Lib Dem’s . We were so grateful for the support of many others who helped us .
As the Main Petitioner I was allowed to return after mid November 2018 . After much thought then deciding I had to expand the discussion out-with the Scottish Borders Barbara M Irvine from Inverness in the Highlands has very kindly accepted to support me as the Second Petitioner . It was both Barbara’s and Mary’s press articles that gave me and many others a starting point into researching PDA and our “ lightbulb “ moment .
Since the final statement was given by Ministers by my experience there has been very little change . We need change NOW and that’s why I am returning to Parliament with Barbara’s support .

    Will keep you updated .

There is a Petition that PDA families might like to sign and comment on at the Scottish Parliament .
Duncan the main Petitioner is going to support our Petition later this year .

Anyone in the World can sign and comment on a Scottish Petition . We need as many PDA comments as possible .

An example of a PDA submission .

It has been damaging to autistic children's wellbeings to have people unqualified to access them. They have suffered with mental health issues due to having unqualified staff not recognise adhd, autism or PDA and punishment instead of support.PDA needs to be recognised by more professionals. Not recognising PDA can damage their health and parents can be blamed by school and social services

    Thank you .
