This is on the PDA Society FB and Twitter page .

We were abandoned by our SW because my eldest son couldn’t engage with an Autism Charity and there was nothing further the LA could do .

Brilliant timing , I am using this next week as evidence in my PDA Meeting to local Charities and the Awareness Day at the end of March .

  • Brilliant post and couldn't have said it better. CHUMS are frankly shite and should be ashamed. They have a duty of care and are failing a lot of children with ASDs especially PDA, or mental health difficulties that make it really hard for them to attend and engage. These people are supposed to be the experts and work with the child, be flexible and persist until they break through barriers to engagement and help the child!
