When was the last time you tried to explain PDA to someone?
Maybe it was a family member, friend, professional – or your child? It’s not always easy. Even when we find the right words, we often don’t feel heard.
Everyone experiences PDA differently – including what they find hard and what can make things easier for them. What doesn’t change is the devastating impact it can have on a person when no one understands them, and they can’t get the help they need.
For the Big Give Christmas Challenge 2024, we launched a new film to raise awareness about PDA. This is created from the stories that so many of you bravely shared with us.
With your help, we smashed our ambitious target and raised an incredible £39,138 – or enough to support more than 1000 PDAers, parents or carers through our Support Service.
As a small charity, we’re reliant on funds like these to continue our work, which is why we’re so grateful to everyone who supported this campaign.
