Getting listed

PDA Society receive multiple requests each week to signpost to services which understand demand avoidance, including those with experience of and understanding of PDA. If you wish to be added to our public list of organisations that consider themselves friendly to people experiencing demand avoidance, please complete this form.

In 2023 we worked with PDAers, parent-carers and safeguarding experts to help people identify and work with services that were safe for them.

The questions below reflect the commitments the guidance suggests when commissioning any service.

Appearing on our public list of organisations does not indicate in any way that PDA Society recommends or quality-assure listed services.

While our directory is designed to be helpful, it’s important to note that PDA Society doesn’t endorse or recommend any specific services or providers. The organisations and individuals listed have self-declared their willingness to support PDA’ers and have shared how they align with the standards outlined in our Finding safe and appropriate support guidance.
