We’re delighted to announce that the PDA Society has been shortlisted for the Community Organisation Award for Disability in the 2021 National Diversity Awards. It’s a wonderful celebration of the mutual support that the PDA community provides and a marvellous validation of our work.
We’ve received so many wonderful messages of support regarding our nomination and would love to feature them all in our nominee video which will be showcased through The National Diversity Awards social media accounts leading up to the awards ceremony on 4th February 2022.
Our plan is to create a photo collage of the messages of support we receive, to really capture the amazing sense of community we’re so honoured to be part of.
We’ve put together a variety of printable posters with different message options as well as versions where you can add your own message or art/decorations to the poster of your choice.
If you’d like your message to be included in the video, please take a photo of yourself holding your chosen poster (or just of the poster if you prefer) and send it to us at comms2@pdasociety.org.uk by Friday 3rd September 2021.
