We’re thrilled to announce the appointment of Elizabeth Archer as our new CEO.
Elizabeth (known as Ed) brings a wealth of relevant experience including as National Strategic Lead for Children and Young People at Mencap, Interim Director of Policy and Campaigns at Ambitious about Autism and Head of Service Design and Delivery at Toynbee Hall. Earlier on in her career Ed was a Family Support Manager and has also worked as an Inclusion Mentor, Children’s Participation Officer, Dad’s Outreach Worker and a Strategy Consultant for a Parent Carer Forum.
Ed has a personal connection to PDA and has a good understanding of the challenges faced by the PDA community. She is committed to doing all she can to improve awareness and understanding of PDA, and to extending the PDA Society’s support services and information resources as our National Lottery project starts in the New Year.
Ed will be joining on the 13th February 2023 and taking over from Helen Evans, our current CEO who will be leaving on the 16th December to spend more time with her PDA son.
