Welcome to PDA Day 2022!
This year our focus is research. Promoting high quality research, informed by what matters most to the PDA community, is one of our 5-year goals.
This short video explains why more research is key to changing policy and practice and reducing the postcode lottery that surrounds PDA today.
Consultation survey
PDA research needs to involve the PDA community every step of the way, and identifying the top unanswered questions is the first step. To do this we’ve launched a consultation survey to ask what questions you have about PDA. The results of the survey will help define the top PDA research priorities, informing a national call to action for more high quality PDA research.
The survey is anonymous and open to anyone with an interest in PDA research. To have a say, please submit your questions before midnight on 14th June 2022.
Stepping up for PDA
Good luck and thank you to everyone who is “stepping up for PDA” today. An incredible 8 million steps have been pledged across the month of May to raise funds to help move PDA research forward and move towards better understanding and outcomes for PDA people and their families.
If you’d like to read our fundraisers’ stories or make a donation, please visit our Stepping up for PDA fundraising page. Thank you.
